WhoCan AI agent

Find the person who can help, right inside Slack.

Your workspace has people with useful experience. WhoCan helps you put a request into words, find relevant skills, and reach members who may be able to help.

What the agent does

Choose AI preparation to get a clearer request and up to three suggested skills from your workspace. WhoCan uses those skills to find available members and explains the recorded skill match for each person it contacts.

You can edit every word and change the skills before approving up to five requests for help. WhoCan sends the request in Slack, tracks replies, and makes a private introduction when someone accepts.

Keep control of the search

  1. Prepare. Write what you need in WhoCan’s Slack Home or on the web. AI runs when you choose it; writing your own plan is always an option.
  2. Review. Check the request, skills, workspace, and five-person limit. Save your edits before approving.
  3. Track. See which requests were sent and which deliveries could not be confirmed. An unconfirmed send still uses a slot.
  4. Decide what happens next. Outreach stops when someone accepts. You can stop earlier or approve another group of up to five. Including referrals is a separate choice.

Requests that give people enough context

Name the problem, the kind of help you need, and a useful constraint. These are examples; suggested skills depend on what your workspace has on file.

What AI knows about your workspace

AI preparation receives the request you select and a limited list of existing skill labels. WhoCan does not attach member profiles, contact details, or channel history to that preparation request. Any personal details you put in the request itself are included.

Gemini prepares the wording and suggestions through an isolated Antigravity runtime. Matching and messaging follow the saved plan in WhoCan. The model has no ability to send messages or approve a search. Read the privacy policy for data processing details.

When there is no available match

A skill match does not guarantee an answer. Members may be busy, the request may need more context, or your workspace may have few listed skills. Check the request and invite members to keep their profiles current. Keep urgent issues on your team’s established support or incident path.

If AI is unavailable, your draft stays available for manual editing. A saved plan and its progress can be reopened in Slack or on the web.
